Subjective Values Foundation launches a comprehensive project, called ’Get down to business’ – Program for talented immigrants of enterprising spirit. The project aims at helping immigrants of third countries accomplish their plans of establishing enterprises, and by this, advancing their integration and access to the Hungarian labour market.

Fostering political participation and policy involvement of migrants on 9 Central and Eastern EU countries

A new project started in 2013 November. The EU Integration Fund financed activity is aiming to increase electoral participation of immigrants – to make sure that immigrants with permanent resident permits have the possibility to be active in political life at local and regional level, and on the other hand that mainstream politics is not xenophobic and completely ignoring interests of the large part of population.

International Day Against Transphobia and Homophobia May 17, Hungary

The Transvanilla Transgender Association orgnised an official event of IDAHO in Hungary about the transphobia within the LGB community in form of a workshop and discussion. It was about the general lack of visibility of trans people, including (or especially) in the “LGBT” community. 

Immigrants coming outside of EU

On the first of July the EU presidency is switched to Cyprus. Among the serious problems EU is facing the new presidency tries to focus on the topic immigrants coming from outside of EU countries.
