The Foundation of Subjective Values was also represented at the Colours Festival on April 14 in Budapest at the cinema Odeon Lloyd. The cultural project is aiming to raise awareness about the integration efforts of immigrants in Hungary. This time the Turkish and Arab communities were in focus.
People from all continents participated in a training/workshop on Friday March 30 to kick-start a project aiming to create a medium in which to raise migrants’ voice in an attempt to foster better relationship between migrants and Hungarians.
Foundation of Subjective Values has invited a number of Third Country National’s organisations to a roundtable conference at our office on, 11th January (Wednesday) 2012, at 10.00 a.m, to discuss an on-going Immigrants’ focused project, called “Media4US2”.
On the 2nd of December 2011, Foundation of Subjective Values was proud to held an outstanding workshop devoted to the examination of the issue of state abuse of power.
9th November is the commemorative day of struggle against Fascism. The so-called Kristallnacht happened on this day, in 1938.
In collaboration with the US embassy and the European Commissions Representation the Foundation of Subjective Values in Budapest an international workshop on ’Extremism and Xenophobia against immigrants in Central Europe’ was held on the 26th of October 2011. Speakers and representatives from Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary were present alongside 40 guests.

In cooperation with Panta Rhei social research centre, Central European University, the British Council and the British Embassy a conference on the “Challenges for Labour Market Integration in Hungary: Opportunities and Limits for third country nationals” was organized by the Foundation of Subjective Values.
As you know the “We are here” exhibition is a collection of young roma students’ work, it is a kind of self-portrait with messages towards to the majority of the society. After several exhibition all picture were taken to Brussels to the European Parlaiment. The program was called “Cities and regions – joining forces for inclusion of Roma populations” and was organised by the Committee of the Regions.
