The Subjective Values Foundation is looking for a project assistant trainee to assist the PM in implementing activities under the CEAR (Community Engagement Against Radicalization) project.CEAR is an EU-funded international project that seeks to systematise a practical model of community and civic engagement in preventing radicalization and extremism. Enthusiastic college and university students, and career starters who are interested in working in the field of preventing violent extremism and would like to gain practical experience in the field are encouraged to apply!
The work is for a definite period of time: 10-15 hours per week starting in May 2021 ending in July 2021
Place of work: Budapest and online

Duties of the project assistant:+ Mapping and reaching out to local NGOs / organizations who would be interested in receiving training on the CEAR project toolkits
+ Assist the PM in the research, design, and implementation of trainings for local actors (in Hungarian) on how to use project toolkits
+ Translating dissemination materials from English to Hungarian
+ Assist the communications team in disseminating and promoting project results and information to local media outlets
Applicant requirements:
+ C1 English level
+ Fluency in Hungarian
Plus but not a must:
+ Previous experience in working with vulnerable communities, especially disadvantaged youth
+ Familiarity with local ngos/organizations working in the P/CVE field
+ Familiarity with local media environment
+ Proven track record of meeting deadlines
