The aim of WICP’s mentorship program is to support the labor and social integration of migrant women in their host countries. Our Slovenian partner, Povod hosted a training course for the mentors in Ljubljana.
The course was interactive and it focused on enhancing the competences of mentors in the following modules:
👉 entrepreneurship competences;
👉 competences relevant for self-employment and entrepreneurial
initiatives within the creative sector;
👉 competences related to gender and intercultural sensitivity learning;
👉 innovative entrepreneurial platforms.
The mentors got on board with engaging networking activities, discussed the importance of storytelling and how it was implemented in the mentorship relationship. They got to know the “MORE THAN ONE STORY” game, an interesting card game designed to build bridges between people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures.
The participants also got an insight into the board game developed by the WICP project that supports entrepreneurship. We’ll share the board game with you too, follow us on Facebook and on Instagram if you’re interested.
