The Migrant Voices Heard project aims to enhance migrant participation in existing political processes that concern them such as integration policies. The project connects countries with different levels of experience in promoting the active participation of migrants (Austria, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, and Romania). The project will involve context research of best practices, capacity-building training for migrant communities, and establishing relationships between migrants and local public officials.
This would pave the road to the main goal of amplifying these migrant voices through the establishment of migrant councils in 5 different EU member states (BU, RO, HU, GR, FR) and activating an existing one in (IT).
The European Union AMIF funded project is running between December 2021 and November 2023.
