CEAR (Community Engagement Against Radicalization) is an EU-funded project, running between January 2020 and December 2021, that works on a multi-national level to systematize a practical model of community and civic engagement relating to the prevention of radicalization and extremism.
SVF along with the other project partners works towards developing a digital toolkit that will benefit youth organizations, organizations of families of radicalized people, and Muslim communities, in the hopes of educating these communities on deradicalization through civic engagement. Through the promotion of deradicalization and counter-narratives, SVF aims to deter radicalization and promote alternative outcomes.
