Talk2Me is an international project supported by Erasmus+ that explores the relationship between multiculturalism and multilingualism through creative, non-formal educational tools. The aim of the project is to support dialogue between young migrants and local youth through artistic and intercultural practices, fostering social inclusion, mutual learning, and the dismantling of prejudices.
In the first phase of the project, the partners jointly developed creative language exercises and artistic methods, which were tested and refined in five workshops – resulting in a practical handbook for trainers and educators. In the second phase, workshops, job-shadowing programmes, and a collaboratively created artistic piece (e.g. exhibition, theatre or sound performance) will be realised, based on the joint creation of newcomers and locals.
Within the project:
- trainings, workshops, and collaborative art projects will take place,
- young migrants will actively share their experiences,
- a digital knowledge-sharing space will be created, where developed methods are accessible for teachers, artists, and youth workers,
- and at the end of the project, a practical handbook and videos will help spread the methodology.
As the Hungarian partner, Szubjektív Értékek Alapítvány contributes to raising social awareness and deepening youth work, with a special focus on the relationship between art and inclusion.
