The two-part youth exchange program, ACTivate Your Journey, which was funded by the German EVZ Foundation within the framework of the 15-year-old Europeans for Peace program, explored the topics of diversity, acceptance, equality and discrimination between December 2019 and March 2020 with the participation of German and Hungarian youngsters.
During the international workshops the young participants had the opportunity to get in touch with their own stories, to work with them and to present them to an audience using non-formal and forum theatre methods.
The first meeting focused on team building, realisations and the start of the participants’ own journeys. During the second meeting the participants created a performance that consisted of (forum) theatre elements with the guidance of expert trainers, and performed it in front of the public:
