The main themes of the program that ran between October 2018 and February 2019, were diversity and discrimination. The group that consisted of German and Hungarian elementary schoolers was introduced to the method of digital storytelling in 2018 in Germany, where they explored the topics of inclusion, acceptance and equality during creative workshops.
In 2019 the program continued in Hungary. The children got even more acquainted with the topics of diversity, acceptance and equality through the creation of short videos, which served the purpose of preventing racism and attitudes of exclusion at this young age already.
We organized a screening to present the children’s videos to the public.
